Open Machines, then select a machine. Its page shows the Engine version, uptime, last-seen information, and service status. Apps, models, and databases can appear in the list. The Engine decides which services this remote connection may manage. Expand Managed locally to see services that require local administration. Use the Engine operations guide for those services.

Operate a service

For a manageable service, open its menu: After a redeploy, wait for the service status and last-deploy information to update. Redeploy started means the machine accepted the build, not that the application is ready.
Stopping an app interrupts its availability. Rolling back an image does not reverse a database migration or restore application data. Use the Engine recovery instructions before changing persistent data.

Inspect secret names

Choose … → Secrets to list the secret keys set for that app. Values are never displayed here. Add or change secrets on the machine using the Engine’s controls; this App panel is read-only.

Publish or make an app private

When public hosted access is available for your account, choose … → Publish and confirm Make public. Anyone with the hosted link can then open the application without a Nerdit account. Only publish an app whose own content and authentication are suitable for that audience. Choose Make private to remove anonymous access. Public hosted apps require Pro. Publishing applies to applications, not model or database services. The machine page also offers Pause public access to stop anonymous access to all its hosted apps. Use Resume to restore their previous exposure settings. This switch does not stop the services or change domains served directly by the machine. Use the machine’s menu on Machines to rename its display name. Renaming does not change its generated address. Unlinking removes this account’s remote access. Applications keep running on the machine, and reconnecting requires a new link. Unlinking is not Engine removal or application deletion. For local deployment, follow the Engine deployment guide. For logs and diagnostics, use Engine troubleshooting. If the App cannot read services, start with App troubleshooting.
